WHERE DC COMES TO EAT, DRINK & UNWIND

Tucked into the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and 14th Street SE on Capitol Hill, The Roost is a 12,500-square-foot culinary clubhouse and neighborhood gathering place built around one simple idea: great food and drink are even better when they're shared.

Come hungry, bring the family, meet up with friends, or pull up a seat and see where the day takes you. With an all-star lineup of some of the District's most talented chefs, local makers and compelling food and drink concepts all under one roof, there's always something new to discover, and plenty of reasons to come back.

WHERE EVERY PALATE HAS A PLACE AT THE TABLE

Start your morning with artisan coffee from Cameo. Grab the perfect burger and a cold craft beer from. Settle in for handmade pizza, tacos, sushi or comforting red-sauce Italian. Sip a thoughtful glass of wine, discover a new favorite spirit, linger over a playful cocktail, or sit down for a proper meal at Caruso's Grocery.

Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite, meeting coworkers for lunch, bringing the kids for dinner, catching up with friends or staying for one more round, The Roost is designed for all of it. And because so much happens under one roof, no two visits have to be the same.

Whatever you're craving, whatever you're celebrating - and even if you're just looking for a good reason to get out of the house - it's probably here. And it's probably delicious.

CREATED IN DC, FOR DC

The Roost was developed and is managed by Neighborhood Restaurant Group, a team of passionate local dining and drinking professionals with a deep love for the people, places and flavors that make this city special.

Our vision was never simply to build another food hall. We wanted to create a place that felt genuinely connected to its neighborhood: a place where great chefs and independent businesses could shine, where locals could discover something new, and where the community could gather around good food and good drinks.

The result is an eclectic, energetic collection of some of the area's most exciting culinary talent, from familiar favorites to new discoveries. It is a place with plenty of options but a real sense of personality: a place that can be whatever you need it to be on any given day.

MORE THAN A FOOD HALL

Sure, you'll find a lot of great food here. But The Roost is about more than deciding what to eat. It's about the buzz of a busy room. The first sip of a great drink. Discovering your new favorite dish. Sharing a table with people you love. Running into a neighbor. Meeting someone for “just one drink” and realizing a few hours have gone by.

It's a food hall, a neighborhood bar, a collection of restaurants and a gathering place all rolled into one—an altogether unique space created by the DC community, for the DC community.

So come hungry. Come thirsty. Grab a bite. Pull up a chair. Stay for another round. Make yourself at home.
