CELEBRATING LATIN HERITAGE WITH LITTLE WAVES
Cameo Coffee + Tea
Join us at Cameo throughout the month of September as we welcome our friends from Little Waves, a standout roaster from Durham, North Carolina. Their ethos of little “waves” stems from building direct relationships to producers that go out into other parts of the coffee industry. Woman forward and Latina led, we continue to pick their coffees over and over again, due to sheer amount of exceptional producer relationships that are nurtured over time.
Join us in highlighting some exceptional coffees from Colombia, and Mexico. The majority of our picks are from women producers. We also have the exceptional Gesha from Jose Julian Giraldo, who recently won the Good Food Award this year, and earned an outstanding 95 points from Coffee Review. Described as “refined, perfumed and gracefully structured, balancing vivid fruit and floral character with a compelling, deeply sweet structure” This Gesha is not one to be missed!

Join us at The Roost for Spirits of Latin America, an immersive walk-around tasting where you’ll sample 24 thoughtfully selected spirits, sip two mini cocktails, and enjoy delicious mini bites while celebrating the remarkable flavors and traditions found throughout Latin America. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase all spirits for takeaway, with special event pricing!
As you make your way through the selections, talk with spirits professionals who will share the stories behind the bottles, offer insight into how they are made, and answer questions along the way. Whether you are deeply interested in spirits or simply curious to try something new, this is an inviting opportunity to explore, taste, and discover something unexpected.

We’re gathering some of the best DC wine distributors at The Roost to share some of our favorite wines made in these incredibly historic wine regions, both in old traditional methods and in moderrn innovative winemaking techniques! Join us on October 18th for a walk-around tasting featuring a 30 ultra-fine wines crafted sustainably in the Ancient World!
The price is $45 per person to taste through all of our favorite sparkling, white, orange, rosé, and red wines, and gain access to our fabulous bottle sale! You'll be rewarded with not only a beautiful afternoon, sipping some serious wines with a crew of pros doing the pouring, but you'll enjoy the security of trying before you buy with some rare pricing on all of the bottles - just for you & just for the day, so c'mon and let's get tasting!
